Here are some frequently asked questions concerning the Heritage Hill lifestyle and its amenities.
What is the schedule for construction of the amenities?
The swimming pool and community center will start design as Heritage
Hill reaches 100 occupied homes. The hiking trails will be built as development
reaches the location of the trails.
What will access to the Salt River be like?
There will only be pedestrian access from Heritage Hill. Individuals will follow the hiking trail to a designated launching area.
What will the Community Association dues be for a homeowner and what services will be provided?
The assessment rate is set at $350 per year. This amount
is prorated from the date your home is purchased. The assessment will
increase to $480 in the year that the pool facility becomes operational
to reflect increased costs associated with the management of the community
pool.
Your Community Association
- maintains all common areas in Heritage Hill (including buildings, walls, landscaping and fences located in the common areas);
- operates and maintains any recreational area located in the common areas (This does not include the golf course);
- manages the enforcement of the deed restrictions in conjunction with the developer; and
- collects assessments from the homeowners to pay for the operation of the association.
What services are provided by the local community?
Heritage Hill is located within the city limits of Shepherdsville, Kentucky. As such, the city provides police and fire protection for the community. Sanitary sewer service is also provided by the city.
The City of Shepherdsville Public Works Department is responsible for:
- Maintenance of the sanitary sewers;
- Street Maintenance pot hole repair, street cleaning, ditching, and paving;
- Removal of garbage and debris from roadways and parks;
- Snow removal and salting of streets
Water service is provided by the Louisville Water Company.
Electric service is provided by Salt River Electric.
Cable television and internet service is available from Insight Communications or Inside Connect Cable.
Telephone service including DSL internet capability is
provided by Windstream. Telephone service is also available from Insight
Communications.
Natural gas service is provided by Louisville Gas & Electric.
Where will my children go to school?
The public schools which serve Heritage Hill are Cedar Grove Elementary School, Bernheim Middle School and Bullitt Central High School. More information on Cedar Grove Elementary is available at the following link:
