Among the many amenities Heritage Hill Community will offer is The Heritage Club Golf Course. The course will be an 18-hole, championship course of over 7,000 yards, designed by Doug Beach, the former design coordinator for Jack Nicklaus Design. Construction by Mid America Golf of Kansas, City, MO, began in 2005, with design, consulting and management duties handled by Golf Ventures International of Simi Valley, CA. The Heritage Club Golf Course will be a daily fee course. Current plans are for the tees and fairways to be zoysia grass with bent grass greens. The layout from the Championship tees will exceed 7,000 yards. Opening date is subject to weather conditions, but is anticipated for Spring 2007.
